讲座摘要:Microbial self-aggregation, in which microbial cells are organized into dense and fast settling granules, is extensively studied due to its practical importance in both anaerobic and aerobic biological wastewater treatment. Anaerobic and aerobic microbial granules have been developed with different approaches and have different properties and applications. This talk is presented with an objective of introducing some research and development in aerobic and anaerobic biogranulation technologies for wastewater treatment. Granule formation, factors affecting the granulation and applications of biogranulation for wastewater treatment will be delineated. |
